Warm Bamboo Massage
The Reef is amongst the first in the UK to launch this amazing new massage treatment, which uses warm bamboo to ease tension and soothe the muscles.
It is unclear where Bamboo Massage first originated, but is believed to have been from a spa therapist in South East Asia who spotted a monkey massaging another monkey with bamboo. In South East Asia bamboo is believed to be the 'good luck plant'.
The warm, smooth bamboo can be applied to your desired pressure and is very relaxing due to the warm temperature, but it is perfect for those who love deep tissue - the bamboo can get a much firmer pressure and feel as though it soothes muscles you never knew existed!
